Hello,

I was using the DVCPRO HD Frame Rate Converter tool on a DVCPRO HD clip, and the operation resulted in the error shown in the image below. Any ideas?

Only DVCPRO HD 720p 59.94 and 50 fps media files are supported

The selected media file (0001PZ) cannot be processed by this tool.

I think there is really no problem with the program you are using. The HD file you want the program to process is beyond its capability which is only limited to HD 720p and you are probably loading a file above that size like HD 1080p maybe. To make it work, make sure the file you want to process is only around 720p and below.

Above that you may need to use another application that will support processing of that video size. Since you only want to change the frame rate or files per second [fps] of the file, you can use ImTOO Video Converter and this is now in version 7, the latest release.

If your program can only handle up to 720p or in general is 1280 x 720, ImTOO Video Converter can work beyond that. Even my ImTOO MPEG Encoder Platinum which is really an old version and is part of DVD Ripper package can handle from 540p [960 x 540], 720p [1280 x 720], until 1080p [1440 x 1080 and 1920 x 1080]. See image.

Visit ImTOO Video Converter 7. This latest version don’t only support HD and common file types but it now supports 2D and 3D video conversion. It is also available in Mac OS X version.
