I have a problem with .odt files; the real problem triggered when I try to open .odt files in Word Web App. This error message is very annoying to me. I am not able to complete my work within the period. I am getting the same error message when I try to open it different browser and computer too. Friends suggest me some idea to overcome this error. Badly in help. Thanks.

Hello,

.odt is OpenOffice Text file type that is compatible with OpenOffice or LibreOffice. Unfortunately, Office Web App doesn’t support such file type to open such file type that is available at Office 2013. You can’t open it in Web App.

If you seriously require to open the file, you can use LibreOffice. It’s free and cool with many features. Download LibreOffice.

You can also use Free File Converter. This is an online file converter that will convert your ODT file into DOCX format. Upload your document, select output file type and press “Convert”.
