Hi,

While installing Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 I received error 1722.

It was about to complete. But the error message stopped the installation.

Have you any idea about the error code?

Please help.

Hello Brian,

Do the following to resolve the issue:

  • Click on the Windows Start Menu, and then open the Control Panel.
  • After that click “Classic View”.
  • And then double-click “System”. On Windows Vista, click on “Advanced System Settings” in the “System” window.
  • After that you will go to the “System Properties” dialog box, click on the “Advanced” tab.
  • And then click the "Settings" button in the "Performance" section.
  • And then click the "Data Execution Prevention" tab.
  • After that click on "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only".
  • And then click "OK" to apply the changes, then reboot the system.
  • Install Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
