Hi,

I am getting this dialog box while downloading applications from the internet. The error shows “Choosing “Anywhere” makes your MAC less secure”. Is there any way to stop this message? Please send me the proper solution to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Choosing “Anywhere” makes your MAC less secure.

Instead, you can allow an individual application from an unknown developer by control-clicking its icon and selecting Open.

Hello Robin,

This is a warning message that shows the security issue that might happen in the future.

While you were selecting “Allow From Anywhere”, it makes you able to download applications for your Mac from anywhere from the web.

This is appearing because there are many unsecured sources that might cause your PC down. But sometimes it is necessary because trusted sources can also be blocked.

If you click on “Allow From Anywhere”, this option will be selected and you will become able to install any app from anywhere.

If you click “Cancel”, the default option will be kept unchanged.

It is all up to you right now. In my opinion, you should press “Allow From Anywhere”.
