Download manager failed to append all pieces

I have just downloaded a huge file using internet download manager. The download when fine and arrived at 100% completion. Just as it was finishing, it read appending all parts and then it stopped. It is a really big file and it will be really difficult to download again. Can anyone help me?

The two main reason this could be happening is:

  1. It is possible that you have an old version of Internet Download Manager.

To see if you have the latest version, click on “Help”>”Check for Updates”

 

To update to the latest version:

 

  1. Some firewalls and anti-virus software will block your downloads from Internet Download Manager.  Change the settings in your firewall and anti-virus to allow Internet Download Manager access.
