Hello!

I am using Timbuktu 6.01 port but it seems it has changed because I can’t see the information I have been working on. I have a Linksys router and I don’t know how to map the ports so as I can see my documents.
Anyone with any idea?

Please help I will be grateful.

Thank you…

Don’t know how to map ports in Linksys router

Hello and good day!

Port forwarding is fairly easy on the Linksys router. But first you would need to identify the model of your router, you can do this by either finding the packaging it shipped with (usually the box has the model inscribed on it), or in case you threw away the packaging one can simply look at the router itself.

Find a label that describes the router (this is usually located at the bottom) and the model would either be labeled there or if not the model usually consists of a mix of letters and number at least 6-10 characters long. Next would be to log into the gateway of your router, you can do this by opening your favorite web browser then type the IP address of your router (usually 192.161.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 if you didn't alter the IP address).

You can find default access information on this site if you haven't changed your access details: Default Router Passwords – The internet most comprehensive router password database

From there it is fairly easy to port forward simply check these links which best corresponds to the model you own:

Just  follow the instructions dictated by the links and hopefully that fixes your problem.

Have a good day!
