Information and Advices needed about DB2
DB2 is connected to the RDBMS or the Relational Database Management System from IBM that operates various operating systems. DB2 is leading in Database market and it is offered for UNIX-based systems and computer OS. It follows the Oracle's database items in UNIX and MS Access. DB2 is commonly called as "Data Server". There are 3 products from the DB2 family and these are:
1. DB2 for Linux, Unix and Windows
2. DB2 for z/OS
3. DB2 for iSeries
These three operates on compound Linux and UNIX distro like Red HAt, AIX, Solaris and more. For more information and try the IBM DB2, click the link below:

Hello there,
DB2 is a database software developed by IBM. It is one of the oldest relational database management system (RDMS). In fact, it is the first one to use SQL (Structured Query Language). It is best used on Data Warehousing. It both supports 32 bit and 64 bit architecture and is a cross platform.
Meaning, it can work in Linux, Mac, Windows, Solaris, etc. Well, when it comes to competition, nothing can beat oracle. But DB2 comes second place and Microsoft SQL Server as third. If you want to try DB2 there is a free version called DB2 Express-C. You can download DB2 Express-C here:Â
