Does not cut the audio from the main speakers

Hi,

My case has both front panel audio and music. However, when I try to insert the headphone jack in front of the panel, it does not cut the audio from the main speakers. What could be the problem here?

Thanks.

You did not mention if the headphones work or not when you connect them. If the headphones do not work and the speakers work when you plug both of them in, then the front pins don't have a connection with the CPU, and if the headphones do work and the speakers as well, then the problem is in the front or back pin.

Thanks, feel free to ask.

Hi Jordon!

Thank you for sending in this question. First things first, when you connect speakers in the front panel, do you hear audio coming out? If so, you might want to use a contact cleaner and a cotton swab to clean the headphone jack on the front panel. If that didn't work, the above solution might do the trick.
