I was updating my webpage when it suddenly collapsed. It turned my laptop on and off. I was so confused why it did it happen. I was thinking that my webpage was attacked by a virus. I would like to ask if my page was really attacked by a virus and of does, what kind of computer virus it is?

Do not jump into conclusion that a virus has caused the damage of your laptop. Consider your battery, your hard drives and your computers maintenance. Or maybe it is because of your anti-virus.

I agree it’s not necessary to jump to conclusions about viruses, but I won’t dismiss your theory totally.

What I’d like to ask though did you get a prompt saying that your computer is going to shut down, did you receive an un expected shutdown or error message from windows, and finally what browser you were using, often times editing web pages online or directly from the cpanel of your website can cause your browser to flood memory, if it is that you were working from a laptop it could have been that the system overheated. I won’t speculate any further though, but if it is that you want to look into the virus possibility the you should also consider looking for malware as well, often times they go hand in hand as it relates to causing unexpected shutdowns
