Coming up with a tablet convertible to a laptop at the same would really set the bars for other manufacturers. As flexible as it is, can the Microsoft Tablet also work with speaker docks?

Until now the Microsoft surface has not yet surfaced as it is all the information that floated are all from rumors and anticipation is getting higher and higher about the said device. Although it was officially announced that the possibility of this device to be released is real but as to when and where is still a mystery. As to your question if this device is compatible or does this work with speaker dock maybe not so. Because speaker docks are built for iPhone, iPad and MP3 players and this Microsoft surface is labeled as a tablet so if this is so it will not be compatible with any speaker docks unless there is a speaker dock for any tablets. Don’t you think so?

Hi Elaine,

Thanks for that interesting question. With regards to your question about the speaker dock, I think it will not work for the Microsoft Surface table. There are two models of Microsoft surface tablet. The first one is the Windows RT will only run "Metro" windows 8 version and the other is "Pro" model a full-featured that will give you the all benefits of a desktop computer. We hope that its price is reasonable. The following are the specs of Microsoft surface for windows RT (left) and pro (right) model:

Hope this information will help you.

Hi Elaine,

So far, they haven't release any of Microsoft Tablet with speaker docks. Since phones that come up with speaker dock is somehow nice it would be best if we could post through forums in CNET Review so that somehow they would heard about little stuff that people wants to be invented.
