I just want to ask something about downloading an application, is it uses a data that will possibly harm or affect my computer with mac operating system. I just want to know for security reasons, because I don't want to compromise my computer's safety.

Just downloading data to your phone will not result to issues, but the problem may arise if you download data that has got issues like malware and virus infection onto your phone. You will therefore need to do the following before you start downloading any data to your phone:

First, ensure that you have a security application like an antivirus or firewall installed on your computer.

You will also need to ensure that the security application is up to date.

When downloading the application, all links you have access to on the internet as well as the application you will download will be scanned for viruses and therefore protecting your phone from harm.
