Does Disabling panda cloud url filter safe?

I'm having problems with Panda Cloud Antivirus Version 1.3.0. It seems that when the url filter is turned on, there is no internet connection in a browser (Google Chrome). I think the only solution is disabling panda cloud url filter. Will it still be safe to browse with it disabled?

Hi Victoria,

URL filters save you in from sites that contain viruses or have a negative reputation for infiltration.

So if you visit a lot of these sites every day, you should fix it.

Hi Victoria,

Yes, It is safe to browse the internet when you disable your antivirus URL FILTER Section. This section of your antivirus software helps you to block access specific host name or file path defined by you. Try checking your filter section if the page you like to browse is included in your block list. Be sure not to disable the Antivirus while browsing the internet!

Thanks,

Llison

Hi Victoria,

No, don't go on the web with your antivirus URL filter disabled as it could happen that you visit some site which is not good for your computer as it may consist of viruses and malware. And if your URL filter is activated it would prevent you from accessing such sites.

Google Chrome is not able to browse because firstly you need to add Google Chrome to the exceptions list in your antivirus software.

See this video tutorial to learn how to do this,

Hope this will solve your issue.

Thanks,
