Hey there,

I recently came across a resource to upgrade my installed Windows 7 from 32 to 64 bit edition. I found Windows Home Premium 7 32 bit 1pk dsp oei dvd.

The question here is, does it include the 64 bit edition and do I need to use my key to install an ISO from Microsoft? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Windows 7 Home Premium indeed have a 32-bit and 64-bit edition, however, if you wish to upgrade from Windows 7 32-bit to 64-bit, I would recommend backing up your files on an external storage device and choosing the Custom option when you do the installation.

Also, you will need to restore your files afterwards and reinstall all your programs. If your Windows 7 Home Premium installation disk is a 32-bit edition, you may go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/get-windows-10 to get the Windows 7 Home Premium for 64-bit edition. Please check your Windows 7 Home Premium installation package though because it should come with 2 disks, one for 32-bit and the other for 64-bit.

Also, please use the Compatibility Center to check if your other system components such as hardware and software will work with the said edition.
