Do I need a driver to control 2 graphic cards?

My desktop has a built-in Intel HD Graphics family video card.  I just bought and installed an Nvidia Quadro 1000M Graphics Card.  My question is, do I need a driver to control 2 graphic cards?  I'm on Windows Vista 64 bit.  Thanks in advance.

Dear Harvey Logan,

Thanks for asking.

First, i want to tell you that all the hardware components require a driver to run.

Without the driver, we cannot operate our hardware.

You need a driver to control the activity of your card. You can get this driver from the manufacturer or the vendor who provided this hardware to you.

If you are unable to get driver. Then do as I say.

Open the following website and search your card's model here.

http://www.driverguide.com

You will find the desired driver. Download the driver and enjoy.

Thanks

Hi,

Actually the new Nvidia Quadro 1000M Graphics Card will work fine after you plug it in but it is just a factory or it is in a default settings, installing a driver will help the peripheral to work on its full potential so you have to install a driver to your Nvidia Quadro 1000M Graphics Card.
