I am a new user of file zilla and I am using an android platform. Is android supported by android? If so do I need to convert files for android file zilla?
No, you don't really have to convert your files, android readily supports filezilla ftp as your home server. The only thing you need to do is choose an FTP client, here's one https://www.smartftp.com/ you can browse the web for more of these, it's not that hard. Try them out, choose one that suits your needs.

You can't convert files with ftp software but I think you want to transfer files one android system to another android system.
If you want to transfer your files and share it with any other devices then you may follow as below:
First Download FTPDroid from here and install it from which device you want to transfer files.(Use as server)
Now see my attachment to set up server in your android.
After setting up successfully download another software from here & install it to your another android device to get and share files from the server android device.

You can’t convert the files saved on your Android device because there is no way to do that yet. Filezilla is known as the fastest and freeware FTP (File Transfer Protocol)  client which supports Windows platform, Linux and Mac. Try to find FTP client that is compatible to android platforms. There are so many FTP clients available such as AndFTP, FTPCafe and many more.
