Hi there,

Regarding Symbian signed certificate, yes, you have to pay approximately $200 for 1 year. This will let you create an app for your phone."Open signed online" is one of the best solutions for you because you wish to create an app for your phone, which is on a single phone IMEI number.

Hi Bennie,

Prerequisite for having a Symbian Signed certification for Nokia is to get a Publisher ID that cost about 200USD/ year and 1 ID per company. You have to renew it after a year. However, prior to getting a Publisher ID you must first meet requirements and pass the test. If you pass then you have to contact Symbian signed to have them take care of your legal documents. Note that the process will take some time so it's important to start the process as early as possible. Once every requirement is settled then submit the application to Symbian signed again. Then you have to pay for the testing which will cost about 350 USD. Then you have to study the report of the test. If it fails, you have to resubmit.
