My monitors display has got a vertical line which was not there before. I cannot undo it nor do I know the reason why it is there. I have tried configuring the display settings. I tried to change profile, different wallpapers but it did not seem to work. Please help me find solution for this problem as soon as possible.

I have found solutions on the problem that you are having try following the tips that I would give you.
1. Try checking your connecting wire between your computer and your monitor try reconnecting them or for better try connecting another cpu on the desktop or try connecting another monitor to your desktop try also changing the cable that connects your computer and monitor
2. Try updating your video card driversÂ
3. Try adjusting your resolutions from lower to higher and higher to lower

Does the same vertical line get displayed when you are using an external monitor? If it is, then it is a problem with your graphics card and you need to replace the graphics card. If it is not then the problem is with your LCD monitor. It may already be defective and needs replacement. Call your computer’s manufacturer and have them replace that LCD for you. Otherwise if it is already out of warranty then you can buy an LCD replacement from them. Otherwise if it is too expensive you might as well just get another computer or just live with it.
