I'm using Digital Performer 7 and I can't make the Play Gold Symphonic Orchestra to work on it. I recently update the latest version and run Play without issues yesterday. But today, an error is appearing. The first error stated, "An unknown executable could not be loaded. Please contact the software publisher for support using this software." Following with the error message below. I can't seem to find the workarounds for this. Can someone help?

Obviously, you are using Microsoft Windows and if you are using Digital Performer 7 on this operating system, I don’t think you can fix it because Digital Performer 7 is limited only to Mac OS X and is not designed to run on Microsoft Windows. Digital Performer 7 supports Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, 10.5 Leopard, and 10.6 Snow Leopard.

To make Digital Performer run on your operating system, you need to upgrade to Digital Performer 8 which then supports Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and higher, Windows 7, and Windows 8. For users running Microsoft Windows, Digital Performer 8 supports both x86 and x64 versions of the operating system.

For Windows 8.1 users, I’m not sure if this version will still work though it’s still Windows 8 but a much higher version. If this is your operating system, try using a much newer version of Digital Performer.
