The difference between Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate Editions

Hi,

In terms of features, there is almost no difference but the characteristics of Windows 7 Enterprise are:

* The license rights to run up to four additional copies of Windows 7 virtual machines

* Windows 7 Enterprise is part of the Windows Optimized Desktop offering, which also includes Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) available to customers with Microsoft Software Assurance on their Windows client licenses.

* Windows 7 Enterprise can only be activated with a Volume License MAK or KMS key if it is not enabled on a local server KMS. The company requires a VL KMS / MAK out of the box or on a local server activation KMS. It can be reset 3 times.

While Windows 7 Integrale can be activated classically via the Internet or by phone (activation center).

Hi John paul281112,

Windows 7 has many editions: starter, home basic, home premium, professional, enterprise, and ultimate.

In general, enterprise and ultimate version share the same features, except the price and license. About ultimate edition, you need to pay $319.99 for full version or $219.99 for upgrade version. About enterprise edition, that is volume licensing.

Hope this helps

Hi John Paul281112,

You want to know difference between windows 7 enterprise and ultimate edition? There is no major difference between them but some that should be noted.

Customers who purchases make a difference between windows 7 enterprise and ultimate edition. Windows 7 ultimate is the highest version of windows 7 available to the customers. On the other hand windows 7 enterprise is a special version of windows 7 available to business and other large companies. So as an individual you can’t easily get windows 7 enterprises.

However it’s not really a loss because windows 7 ultimate offers almost everything that windows 7 enterprise does.
