The difference between Windows 7 and Ultimate

Hello,

The Difference is in the license agreement. Windows 7 Enterprise can be used only for businesses that have an Enterprise License agreement with Microsoft. But Windows 7 Ultimate Edition can use with retail licenses.

Both Windows 7 Enterprise Edition and Ultimate edition support features such as EFS, Bitlocker, Remote Desktop Host, BrachCache, AppLocker and Boot from VHD.

Thank You

John Major.

Hi Peter Jackson,

Windows 7 enterprise has the same features as windows 7 ultimate. The only different thing is licensing.

Windows 7 enterprise is for companies, which have software assurance contracts with Microsoft, through volume licensing.

Windows 7 ultimate is for home users with individual license. You need to pay $319.99 for full version or $219.99 for the upgrade version.

Hope this helps.
