Hi, everyone,
I am using Windows 7 OS. The Windows Professional 2010 doesn’t have as many functionalities as compared to the older version of this Office application. For example, when I right click the Excel file, the older version of office application shows a number of “Bookmarked” files, but Office 2010 does not show up with anything.
Am I missing something here? Is there a new way to get to these shortcuts?
Did Office 2010 lose previous functionalities?
Hello Camford,
I have read your concern regarding Microsoft Office 2010. You are having problems on the shortcut keys of the new Office version and you wanted to know what are the easiest ways to access your needs in the program. Is it right?
Your operating system doesn’t have to do about this issue. The only thing that matter is you notice that some keys were missing in this version.
Common shortcut keys can still be used, such as:
CTRL + B
Bold Text
CTRL + I
Italic Text
CTRL + U
Underline Text
CTRL+J
Justifies Paragraph
CTRL+P
Print
F12
Save As
But if you wanted to access other keys, try to look into this.
FOR MICROSOFT WORD 2010
CTRL+K
Hyperlink
ALT+F8
Inserts Macros
ALT+SHIFT+F7
Dictionary
ALT+SHIFT+R
Header Footer Link
ALT+SHIFT+K
Mail Merge Check
ALT+CTRL+S
Splits the Document
CTRL+SHIFT+F
Displays the Font dialog box.
CTRL+SHIFT+S
Displays the Apply Styles task pane.
CTRL+SHIFT+F5

CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER

I hope I am in the right track of understanding your concern and give you a hand to fix the problem. I hope this information is of good help.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Mali
