I had formatted my windows. After which while installing the drivers, I am continuously facing error code 40 which says error during unzipping of files.
It occurs when it is not able to obtain the drivers that we are installing due to change in system registry settings. It means that it does not have valid information in the system registry for that device. It can happen because of incomplete installation, the sudden removal of some hardware device or system virus. For this, reinstall the complete program as run as administrator after removing the previous copy and check for the virus.
Launch the troubleshoot wizard to find the errors.
If nothing, changes follow these steps to restore your Windows:
a. Sign in as an administrator.
b. In accessories select system tools and click system restore.
c. Select the restore to earlier time option and click on the restore point.
d. Click next to confirm restoration and after that restart your PC.
