Our corporate has been using Microsoft Lync for the web conference and video chatting. We are thinking of upgrading to Microsoft Office 2013 Lync. How is it different?
The new Lync Basic 2013 has instant messaging (IM) video and audio calls, availability of info, online meetings, and sharing capabilities from a single program. You can download the 291.6 MB package from Microsoft webpage. There are lots of new features in it along with the upgraded GUI. It can record the calls, share notes, view the videos of gallery, etc. It has become the standard for web conference in the business world today. There are installation instructions attached to the application.
