I downloaded this free trial of a software that transfers and back up files. Now it prompted me to this error message which I pasted below. It is still in the step one process. I have my smart phone devices connected to my PC. Why is this error always appearing? What have I done wrong?
The desktop loader is unable to connect to the device.
You may need to enter the password on the device.

If you are connecting a phone on your computer it means that it is having a problem detecting the phone. You can try to do a security wipe on your phone, but before doing that check if you can connect another phone so you can isolate whether it’s the application or your phone that is having a problem. You can try to look for RimDeviceManager.exe process that is running on your task manager.
