I am using Dell XPS Laptop of latest configuration, but with 1GB Radeon Graphic Card, but when I play Call of Duty Game's latest version on it, initially it works fine, but after few minutes laptop starts heating up, and eventually graphics of laptop starts hanging and have its termination. Suggest some fix.

Hi David E Barnes,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem. The heat sink and the motherboard will have to be replaced to solve this issue. I recommend that you call Dell customer support to get this problem resolved as soon as soon possible. Also, a certified technician can carry out this job as well.

That problem might be with the version of the game you are playing. If you are only playing the original version of the game, you shouldn’t encounter any problem because it has very low requirements. The original version of the game “Call of Duty” supports Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.

It requires 600 MHz Intel Pentium 3 or equivalent AMD Athlon or faster processor, 128 MB RAM, Microsoft DirectX 9.0b-compatible video card, 1.4 GB free space, and sound card. There are many versions of Call of Duty. If you play a particular version and you encounter a problem with the display or with the video card in particular, you need to check that game’s system requirements.

If you have a problem with overheating which is more likely to happen when you are playing on a laptop, you can purchase and use a cooling pad.
