I have several apps on my Galaxy Note 3 phone that I just don't need. Could some tell me how to delete unwanted phone apps?

From the home screen, select app on the bottom right of the screen>select settings>tap application manager>from the all tab, tap an app>select unistall app>tap ok
Those steps should uninstall your desired application from your samsung note 3.
Alternatively, you can uninstall an application by:-
1. From the Home screen, select All Applications.
2. Tap on the Downloaded Apps tab.
3. Tap the Menu key and select Uninstall.
4. Tap the application you wish to remove then select Ok.
