Please try and use defragmentation of your hard disk. Defragmentation in Windows is a process where files are rewritten in an adjoining sector on the hard drive. This results in speedy retrieval and access to files for subsequent use. Your application will then load faster as compared to earlier. To defragment a disk on Windows XP, try this:

  1. Go to a drive on your hard disk.
  2. Right click on the drive, go to properties and click on Tools tab.
  3. Select the option Defragment now.
