Hi,

I use the mac operating system to work and I upgraded my 1 password to the latest version; ‘3. 9. 3’ this early morning with the help of Mac App Store, but while adding entries by synchronizing my files with drop-box, I am facing a Database error as shown in the image affixed, is there any solutions to this?

Database Error 1Password must be unlocked. Failed to save the object [Orage Personal Server/ D94692DC39294E4984561D80EDBD8BFD].

The problem with your 1Password application is really not a database error. With the application’s current state, yes, you can consider it as a database problem since it doesn’t permit adding anymore entries in the program’s database. But the reason for this behavior is that the application may already have exhausted all trial days left.

That’s why the dialog box says that you need to unlock the application. Maybe you were not aware that the version of 1Password that you have downloaded and installed is only in trial period and is not a registered version.

To make the program work again you need to unlock it by registering it online. This means that you are required to buy its registration code or license key to unlock the program. Since you are not using the latest version, try upgrading to 1Password 3.9.5.

You can download this version by visiting http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Internet-Utilities/1Passwd.shtml. This version of 1Password has a 30-day trial period which means you have 30-days to use the program and then it disables automatically just like what happened to your current version.
