Hello there!

If you are talking about the new Timeline, the new update that Facebook have advanced into where most users now are changed into Timeline and not the old features of Facebook. Actually, speaking about it, Timeline is more of an open space to all the users of Facebook since it could view activities from the past times like a year ago or so. An easy access to say. Apparently, some of its privacy options are quite intriguing since viewers can see fully the profile of the person using Facebook. There are options that follow like setting up your privacy settings like who can post to your timeline or who can view your timeline. You can change them from "Public" to "Friends". You can also manage your Timeline as to what extent can people view from your Timeline and edit posts that only you can see.

There may be quite a lot of changes since the new Timeline have appeared. It’s quite tricky but if you look into it and find time to actually manage your options as to who and what can appear in your Timeline.

Hope it helped a bit.

Thanks.

The timeline feature in Facebook was introduced sometime last year, 2012, and it’s hard to say if it will be good for the users or not since not all Facebook users have the same opinion. Some may say that it adds a little flexibility since you can instantly see your home page constantly updating every time a friend of yours updated or enters any comment on something. But at first, of course, I’m sure you got a little confused when you first saw your page looking like that.

But that’s only in the beginning and you will be getting used to it as you use it every time you access your Facebook account. But like what always happens, you cannot please everybody. Some of the people I know that uses Facebook don’t seem to like this new timeline feature. For those users that have old accounts, I think you have an option to update your profile to use the new timeline feature or you may keep your original page as it is. For newly created accounts, the timeline feature is automatically used by default.
