DAMO and Microsoft Office 2010 – INCOMPATIBLE?!

Is it true that DAMO is actually compatible with Microsoft Office 2010? I am inquiring about it because IBM states Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook (DAMO) 8.0.2 IF6 is incompatible with Microsoft Office 2010 at the present moment. (Refer https://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21460328) Would you be capable of revealing to me the form of DAMO that can operate with Office 2010? Your cooperation is highly valued.

Hi Asten Rathbun,

It’s nice to hear that you are interested in being able to use DAMO in 8.0.2 IF6 with Microsoft Office.

As per the recent documentation, DAMO with the IF6 is still not compatible with MS Office.

I know this sounds bad. But the good news is you can still make it work:

Here is the workaround:

***Install as normal

***Open MS Outlook by right clicking the icon, click on run as admin (see picture below)

***DAMO will then start and work on getting your emails and etc. – if the setup freezes, simple do it again (make sure to always run as admin if the setup is incomplete). It will continue in importing the files until everything is finished.
