Every time I select to open an .iso file with Daemon Tools, I get an error stating "Windows Can Not Find F: Make Sure You Typed The Name Correctly, And Try Again." I have used Daemon Tools on other file types with no issues & had done Iso files in the past with no problems as well. Whats going on here? Please Help, Thanks.

I guess the problem is your virtual drive. It’s true that DAEMON Tools can create disc images and virtual drives but if you want to use or open an ISO image, you should have a virtual drive on your computer. You need to mount the ISO file on a virtual drive to access its contents and probably install something if the image contains installer.

To add a virtual drive on your computer, use DAEMON Tools. You can use DAEMON Tools Lite if you only want to create disc images and add virtual drives. This lite version allows you to create 4 virtual drives on your computer. Here’s how to use DAEMON Tools to add a virtual drive on your computer.

Start DAEMON Tools. On the main screen, click DVD/CD-ROM Devices. See image.

In DVD/CD-ROM Devices section, click Add DT Virtual Drive. This creates a regular virtual drive or virtual device with basic or simple emulating capabilities. See image.

After this, wait for the drives to be updated. When it is finished, your new virtual drive is ready to use. See images.

To mount your ISO file, right-click on your ISO file then select Mount. You can also drag the ISO file into DAEMON Tools so that you can easily mount the image the next time.
