Cyberlink Power DVD Error – Windows 7

Hello friends,

I have recently installed Cyberlink power DVD 9 on my system with windows 7 OS. I have also added a third video board. Gtx460 is driving one of my monitors whereas a pair of gts250's is driving my second monitor. I have used patch 9 to upgrade the player to 9.0.4322.52.

I want to play my blue ray disks on the power DVD 9 player but the player is not doing so. It is unable to play my disks. However my Blu ray disks can be played in the free version.

I always get the following error message:

The integrity of CyberLink PowerDVD is under threat

Information

The integrity of CyberLink PowerDVD is under threat. Check your anti-virus

Software for malicious activities or try reinstalling CyberLink PowerDVD.

                                                                           OK

I have also disabled McAfee and also stopped BOINC but is still get the same message over and over again. I have tried to run my disks using different blue ray devices but still the problem persists. It is only running with DA player.

I have recently bought Kiwi media to run my Bluray disks and it is working perfectly fine. Only Power DVD 9 is creating a problem. Has anyone else faced such a problem? If yes, please tell me how to resolve this query.

Looking forward for your suggestions.

Regards.

Ruth

Hi Ruth,

Uninstall the program and ensure to remove all its contents by using a Registry Cleaner for PowerDVD. This registry cleaner is needed when you will be having issues on installation and uninstallation of PowerDVD. You can get it here

Make sure to follow these steps correctly:

  1. Download and install the correct registry Cleaner that is compatible with your PowerDVD version and then store it on your Desktop.
  2. Rename the “CLCleaner-PowerDVD9.0.ex_” into “CLCleaner-PowerDVD9.0.EXE”
  3. Run the registry Cleaner to get remove everything left in the Registry.
  4. Delete the “PowerDVD” folder manually, under "C:ProgramsCyberlink….”

Reboot.

Now, reinstall the PowerDVD with the genuine full version license number. Try playing your Bluray discs without updating this time.
