Hi,

While using MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010, I received an alert that my “Current Storage Used Figure is Incorrect for a Site Collection”. Is it okay if I alter the configured storage quota?

Do I need to or is there something else I need to do?

Hello Joseph,

You are bound to get such an error when site collection in SharePoint goes past its configured storage quota, and therefore you will need to cross-examine MOSS 2007 and make sure that the values being used and not going past the limit that has been set.

Regards,

Nicke

Hello Joseph Abbott,

If you alter the configured quota, maybe this warning message will appear again. To fix this problem, you can try the following: Replace the URL with this https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.sharepoint.spsite.recalculatestorageused.aspx ,with that site calculation which you want to re calculate. After that you have to run the command manually. Otherwise you can save file as .ps1 and execute that as a script.

I think this will help you.
