I have installed Microsoft Excel 2010 in my PC. I tried to open a .CSV file in to the Excel Sheet. But it failed to open, showing the error message. The extension can't be read.' How can I solve the problem, the CSV file is important.
Please advice.
Try to open it using another program like notepad, open office spreadsheets or other version of MS office. If you can't open it with those programs maybe the file is corrupted, and if corrupted of course you cannot open that normally anymore except if there's a program that can open corrupted CSV file. Check the file extension of the file, the right extension for CSV file is having extension .CSV. If you find out that not in CSV, change the extension to .CSV. Me myself, I always open CSV file to open office calc or MS office and it works well if there’s no problem in the file. Just try some of my recommendations.
