Hi,
While installing Crysis video games from electronic arts I encountered an error which is shown below. Any suggestions?
Error 1334. The file “X” cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file PCW_CAB_family2.
This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD ROM
Did you install any patch from EA website? Try the following steps and see if it will work for you:
1. Uninstall Crysis completely if you have installed a part of it or the entire game.
2. Save the profiles or saved games in your computer.
3. Re-install Crysis and then install the Crysis Patch 1.2 from the link below:

Before installation process turn off your windows firewall. Some of the files are being blocked by the firewall. Then scan your PC sometimes a virus could make a pop up. After that try again.
There are also files that are being hidden. Go to control panel, appearance and themes, folder option then a pop up will show click view, click show hidden files and click ok.
