When adding Roles I am getting Insufficient Permissions as the following: CRM 2011 message is occurring.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Error:

The system could not log you on. This could be because your user record on the business unit you belong to has been disabled in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Try this action again. If the problem continues,check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally,you can contact Microsoft Support.

If CRM database copied from SBS server then the CRM database’s user account will not work properly in the new domain even though they have the same name. CRM uses International GUID for user name and account where CRM database does not match with any user account in active dictionary.

To solve this problem you have to determine the followings:

  • The number of CRM server.
  • IP range of your client computer.
  • Have to enter proper URL while installing the CRM outlook client.
  • Check, whether your user account blocks or not.
  • Your business must be enable, where your user belong.

This error would have happened for a wide range of reasons. I will give you 3 issues to check.

1. Is your Business unit and user disable? They should be enable.

2. You should check if the SQL database ORG-MSCRM/ SystemUserBase table/ IsDisabled column value.

3. You should assigned the Workflow to someone else and not to the original user.

If nothing of these solve your problem you should contact with the Microsoft Support Centre.

Hi,

Your problem occurs for installed two environments for CRM 2011 in your desktop or laptop.

There has an error in Rollup 3 installation. You can get more information about this issue form here :

At first select File and then select Help now select  About Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Let I suggest of recommend you to download a  55 MB MS Dynamics CRM 2011 Update Roll-up 5 software for fix this problem. You should install it in your pc after download that file form internet.

After finished the install you should restore your server and the try again to add roles.

If work flow goes to a wait stage this error may appear you can try this steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Check the owning User and the Business unit, if it is disabled or enabled. You may want to enable them if there are disabled.
  2. For your user profile, check the SQL database ORG_MCRM > SystemUserBase > check the IsDisabled column is set for the current user.

      3. If this is just a reassigned workflow then you need to send it back or reassign it to the original user.
