Hi Darrell,

The error is because none of the components were successfully installed.
To resolve this error follow the steps as stated below:
1) Check that the disc drive can read the disc
2) Creative suite installation requires administrative privileges to install
3) Go to 'Start', Click 'Control Panel', Select 'User Account Privileges'

User-Account-window-for-administrative-privileges

4) Check the user has admin privileges for installation
5) Run the Creative 5.5 suite installer
6) Perform a safe boot before installing
7) After the installation is complete, restart the system

Hi,

1. On your Control Panel, uninstall Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard if after you reinstalled, some CS5.5 data are still present.

2. Download and launch Adobe Suite Cleaner tool to fix the registry settings of your local machine.

3. Install the most up to date version of Adobe air.

4. Install the latest Adobe Flash Player

5. On the control panel, uninstall Adobe Reader. This is because it will be replaced with the Acrobat Pro (comes with the Creative Suite by default) which may create conflict if you wont uninstall the Reader.

6. Restart your machine

7. Re-install by clicking Run as admin.

8. This should be working then
