Hello, I want a creative sound blaster pro for XP, as I have to re-install my OS; now wondering which version will be best for XP professional edition and can I get it free by downloading? If possible let me know.

I searched in the Creative's Support Site and found 1 driver available for Windows XP x64 Professional Edition (assuming that's your OS). It is Sound Blaster Live! x64 Driver.

This is only for Sound Blaster Live! series internal audio card only.

If you install the incorrect driver your sound card will not work. It can also lead to system crashes.
If you are unsure about what sound card you have. Download slim driver application here.
It will automatically detect what drivers are needed and will check that all your drivers are up to date.
To use the program.
Download and install the application.
Run the application and click on start scan
Driver Slim will scan your computer.
When the scan completes a list of available drivers will appear.
Choose the drivers you want to install and the drivers installation packages will install. Just follow the prompts.
