Cove Point Windows 8 Ultrabook tablet

Hello there,

Let me clarify some confusion first. In your question you referred to it as a tablet, it isn’t a tablet in fact it is a hybrid. A hybrid as in a combination of tablet and laptop/ultra-book. It offers the versatility of an everyday tablet with the power of an ultra-book.

It has a 12.5” touch screen, in the demo it ran on the Intel’s latest processor the Ivy bridge series, the same which you would find in any full-fledged laptop; in addition to the good processor it has 2 next gen USB 3.0 ports which are backward compatible with USB 2.0.

It also has a mini HDMI port in case you want to connect it to you favorite HD TV or your computer monitor to share your hybrid’s screen with your family or friends. It would run on Windows 8.

However, the official release dates are not released yet but it is speculated that it will hit the shelves by the end of this year and will be priced at a rather hefty 1000$ US.
