After I downloaded VLC on my laptop and install all the bid required it all works fine. But when I use just right now I didn't know why the error message came. Can anyone tell me what was the cause of this error?

In your case, maybe the VLC player you been installed was not compatible for your operating system.
You better uninstall it and install the VLC player that suitable to your computer.
Or the VLC player you been downloaded was corrupt.
Try to download the VLC player again. Turn "off" your antivirus before you download the new VLC player software.
Download the 32 bit VLC player for sure.
After the install the software of VLC player turns back the antivirus "On".
Scan your laptop using your antivirus to remove any viruses.

Just simply uninstall the program and then reinstall it once again. Some files might have been corrupted but it is also possible that a virus causes the problem of your VLC player to not initialize during run time. I suggest you install an anti virus software buy either purchasing it or download a free trial for a while.
You can also try Microsoft Security Essentials to scan your computer but it is a must that you have an original operating system to install this software, because it will ask you to validate your operating system.
You can also try a different player for your computer like FLV player or download a codec pack like Combined Community Codec which has a Media Player Classic included but this time you can play FLV files or AVI files and many other video and audio formats that you want to see or hear.
