Could Not Convert Variant of Type Error

I wonder whether I could get some help regarding my Video to Flash Converter. After having done all necessary steps to resolve the error, I still get the error message which says: “Could not convert variant of type (0000) into type (0000).”  I have reinstalled everything already hoping that it would work well after that but it’s still the same error that keeps appearing. I am using Windows Vista Service Pack 2 32-Bit. When I try to run the software through admin account, audio converter and flash to video all worked well and the rest of the programs run smoothly without error. Can you tell me what’s with that error message and how to fix them?

The problem may be that the Video to Flash encoder application that you are using has compatibility issues with the windows vista service pack 2 32 bit application that you are using, and therefore you will need to check that. Check to see whether the Flash to Video encoder is a 32 bit too, because if it is not then it will not be able to work on that operating system.

As workaround in that case, you will need to do the following:

  • Go online and search for a Video to Flash encoder application that is a 32 bit.
  • Download it and install it on your computer.

Since it meets the system requirements, it should be able to work well.
