Hi Hollis,
This issue is caused by a conflicting Back-Up saved on your computer , you will need to delete these backup files and then your sync will complete as normal . To Delete the backups go to iTunes Preferences and Select the Devices Section , you can then remove them from here then simply do you sync and create a new backup.
This will fix your issue , Good Luck!

There are two possible reasons for that error. One, you are not using the latest iTunes and two, you have a very slow internet connection that’s too unstable to handle data transfer. To try and fix it, first, download the latest iTunes and install it to upgrade the existing version. Once you have the latest version installed, try synchronizing your images again and see if it works.

If your synchronization still gets interrupted, try resetting your router. Turn off your router and unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds. Press on any button to drain any power left. Next, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. Try synchronizing again and see if it works.
