Could it be possible for me to switch to the hardware RAID?

Could it be possible for me to switch to the hardware RAID using the same drivers without a large configuration or the resynchronization process if I had the original root system with the hdc 1 copy (it is considered as duplicate copy) talking 25 hours to “synchronize” the drivers in order to make it more faster than the usual operation. Please enlighten me, if it is proper. Thank you.

Hello Zabrielle,

It is possible for you to switch to the hardware RAID without possible having to do a reinstallation. But it is important for you to know that the windows version that you must switch to should be windows 2000 pro, 2000 server or windows XP. In case you will need to move the windows installation to a different hard drive and controller, then you will need to have a tool that you will use to copy content form one partition of the hard drive to another, and some of the tools that I will recommend are Norton Ghost and Acronis True Image.

But for the new disk drive controller you will need to get the drivers for it and you can search for them from the internet and download them.
