I have a windows 7 professional edition, I recently tried to run a game set up but it kept on showing a missing DLL file pop-up, How can I get a dll replacement for windows 7? Is there a Dll directory or packaged download that I can get for this, if so where can I get the download?
This problem can be solved installing latest version of Directx. Sometimes your game came with a Directx installation integrated and is strong recommend install it before install the game.
Then uninstall game and restart your computer. After that install game pre requirements like Directx, then install the game.
If your installation don’t has a Directx install you can download it from Microsoft and install it manually.
The current last version for Windows 7 is Directx 11 and you can download it from here.
