CorelPaintShop Pro X5 error while updating the program

Hello,

I just tried to update my Corel Paint Shop Pro X5 but I encountered this following error message saying “No update of tour installed software is required at this time”. How can I fix this error without having any issue? Can you provide me resolution? I would be grateful to you.

Hi Christy,

This is not really an error that you are facing. CorelPaintShop Pro X5 has an option to check for updates automatically and it shows you this message if there are no current updates available. You don't really have to do anything here except click Ok. If you want to, you can uncheck the option to check for updates automatically in the software's preferences.

You do not need to worry as there is no update available for your software and you just did a routine check for its newer version on its own accord. Still if you want to have a solution to your problem, then stop checking for updates frequently and you will not be confused.

Other than this, you can also try out the following steps

1. Open the settings panel of CorelPaint Shop Pro X5

2. Uncheck the Check box showing "check for automatic updates"

3. Ok
