I recently downloaded Corel WinDVD Pro 11 trial version. And then I tried playing some Blu-Ray DVDs but the error attached below appears. All the drivers are updated including my display driver. My video card is a Nvidia GeForce GT 540M and is there a manual update needed to run WinDVD without issues?

Corel WinDVD Display Driver Not Supported Error

The first thing you should know when playing Blu-ray is a Blu-ray supported drive because you cannot play it on any ordinary DVD drive, the drive won’t be able to read it. If you already have a Blu-ray drive then you are now able to play Blu-ray discs. Since the error thrown by the program is related to the video card’s driver, might as well update your device’s driver to the latest version.

Visit NVIDIA Driver Downloads to update to the latest version. Make sure to specify the correct type and model of your NVIDIA video card because there are different models to choose from in the selection. Once installed, restart your computer and run Corel WinDVD again. You should also check if the amount of video RAM your video card has is supported.

Corel WinDVD requires an NVIDIA GeForce 8/9/10 series, GTX series, or newer and it should have a minimum 128 MB video RAM. Corel WinDVD supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
