Hi,

Corel PaintShop Pro X5 is a good program that I have been using for months. So I thought I needed to do an update to get latest functionalities. But all attempts of updating have been futile because of the error shown below. I have never seen such an error before so should I just ignore the update?

Corel PaintShop Pro X5

No update of your installed software is required at this time.

It seems you want to update Corel PaintShop Pro X5 with the latest available updates using the application’s built-in updater. This feature included in the application allows it to check for any new update intended for the program. It will check and will alert you if a new update is available and you have the option to install it on the spot or maybe later.

But in your case I think there is still no available update for your program. Just check it again from time to time I’m sure an update will be available after a few weeks. That message you see on your screen is not an error just like what you are thinking.

It only displays the default message when there is no update available on the program after running the updater. There is literally no problem with your Corel PaintShop Pro X5. If you really want to use the latest edition, upgrade Corel PaintShop Pro X5 to Corel PaintShop Pro X6 Ultimate for $100. Visit Corel PaintShop Pro X6 Ultimate to purchase it.

If you don’t want to purchase it, you may still download the trial version that offers 30 days of trial period. You can download it from the same page by selecting Trial tab.
