Converting Issues in Win 7 & Lotus Notes

We are currently converting from Lotus Notes to Google Apps and also doing Windows XP users to Windows 7.

We noticed that when Windows XP is converted or upgraded to Windows 7, the users are experiencing problems. They are receiving Lotus Notes Client 8.5.2 FP2. They are using Chrome as users of the Google application. The main problem is that these users receive a (Lotus Notes) document link in Google apps, the users try to click on the link, then a dialog is initiated by the Google apps (External Protocol Request), afterwards the users click the “Launch Application” and suddenly a blank tab opens the application but the user is not brought to the Lotus or into the problematic document.

Please help me out. I'll be very grateful.

I also tried to install the connector software on my laptop. But the result is same with error.
Thanks.

There is no way that you can convert the windows xp to windows 7 without doing a complete new installation of the windows 7. So first clear this thing up that you have done a clean and new installation of the windows 7.
Once you figure this out and have done the windows 7 installations, now redefine the paths for the lotus notes and for your clients.
In the Google app, redefine those paths with the new ones in place so that the user is redirected automatically to the new paths you have created.
This way you will not receive any kind of error but the key is to install the windows 7 with a good sense.
