Constructed own pc from old parts- issue with booting up

Dear All,

I have managed to set up my own gaming-rig with parts obtained from different PCs. I have checked all the individual components and all of them are in working condition. When I finished installing all the components and switched on the system, it is shutting down with a constant beeping sound. When I managed to switch it on the first time, I was told no OS was detected.

As what you described, constant beeping sound means a bad memory, or you just didn’t attach them properly.

Easy fix:

·         Remove memory stick, then insert it again in the proper position, see the photo.

·         If you don’t know which direction it should face, then just do trial and error. If the first position doesn’t work, then the second position will.

·         Then do this on all the other hardware

Important: Always attached or install hardware in proper position and not loose.
