Connects To Computer But No Display Showing?

I can not get the screen to show anything when I turn it on. When I connect it to my laptop it can see it and will access it. But no matter what I try it will not display anything on screen. And there is no sound when it comes on. Suggestions on how to fix this?

When your screen is black and does not display anything, there might be a problem with your cable whether VGA or HDMI. It might also be missing drivers issue. However, to try and solve this, you should first should try to restore your system settings. If it still does not display you might need replace your VGA/HDMI cable.
